Owned and operated by qualified carpenter Alexander Moore, Greysand provides practical, reliable solutions for carpentry, home repairs, property maintenance and selected renovation work.
With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the building industry, the focus is simple: quality workmanship, clear communication and reliable service.
Whether it’s one small repair, a list of maintenance jobs or a larger carpentry project, you’ll deal directly with an experienced tradesman from the initial discussion through to completion.
Alexander Moore — Owner & Carpenter
More than 20 Years of Carpentry & Building Experience
Alex began working in the building industry as a teenager before completing his apprenticeship and Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery in the Shoalhaven.
Over more than 20 years, he has worked across residential and commercial construction, renovations, detailed carpentry and property maintenance. His experience has included working as a carpenter, leading hand and site supervisor, as well as operating his own carpentry business.
Alex has continued his professional development by completing a Certificate IV in Building and Construction and Diploma of Building and Construction through the Master Builders Association.
After working in Sydney and on a wide variety of construction projects, Alex returned to the South Coast and established Greysand.
Today, the focus is on providing homeowners, investment property owners, holiday rental hosts, property managers and local businesses with an experienced local tradesman for carpentry, repairs and ongoing property maintenance.
A Practical Approach to Property Maintenance
Having spent decades building and renovating homes, Alex understands that not every job requires a large building company.
Often it’s the smaller jobs that are the hardest to organise — a door that won’t close properly, deteriorated timber, damaged plasterboard, deck repairs, locks and hardware, painting or a list of maintenance jobs that have accumulated over time.
Greysand aims to provide a practical solution: one reliable local contact who can assess the job, carry out appropriate repairs and clearly communicate what is required.
Where specialist licensed work is required, appropriate trades can be coordinated by arrangement.
